Unit 1: The Saviour of Mankind

Arabia is a land of unparalleled charm and beauty, with its trackless deserts of sand dunes under the dazzling rays of a tropical sun. Its starry sky has excited the imagination of poets and travelers. It was in this land that the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) was born in the city of Makkah, which is about fifty miles from the Red Sea.

The Arabs possessed a remarkable memory and were an eloquent people. Their eloquence and memory found expression in their poetry. Every year a fair was held for poetical competitions at Ukaz. It is recorded that Hammad said to Caliph Walid bin Yazid: "I can recite to you, for each letter of the alphabet, one hundred long poems..."

English to Urdu Translation

Unit 3: Daffodils

By William Wordsworth

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

Unit 4: Hazrat Asma (R.A)

During the migration of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) and Hazrat Abu Bakr (R.A) from Makkah to Madinah, Hazrat Asma (R.A) prepared food and tied it to the camel with her own waistband as nothing else was available. For this service, the Holy Prophet gave her the title of "Zaat-un-Nataqain" (She of the waistband).

Her bravery, loyalty, and faith were tested many times, notably when her grandfather Hazrat Abu Quhafa, who was blind and still a non-believer at the time, expressed concern that Hazrat Abu Bakr had taken all their wealth with him. Hazrat Asma immediately consoled him by covering pebbles with cloth at the storage corner, letting him touch it to feel secure.
